Very disappointing, they certainly got the run of the ball, and the benefit of a few dubious decisions, but that's football. To be honest we were just not good enough, but we were not thrashed, we did score & create a few chances so it all bodes well for some serious stuff in the league.
Two poor performances this week lacking energy and organisation and a few players lacking heart.
Lewington and Waldren today did well. The errors for the two goals at the start killed us and we gave the ball away far too much often the same player guilty. In truth Lincoln could have scored 6 or 7 and thats being generous to us, it could and should have been more of a contest. We seem to have lost our way, as the last two performances have been poor and lacking anything from too many players and the errors by defenders (and midfielder) over the last two matches are like the ones we made earlier in the season.
Good luck to Lincoln in the next round, they had a bye with practise today for their reserves.
I must have seen a different game thought we did all we could, mistakes happen we tried hard but they are what they are a full time almost league club who are on an high at the moment & i suspect some of the players they used today will have a part to play in th rest of there season.
It is amazing that we get more people on this forum when we lose
