Very poor with neither team deserving 3 points, although I think we did create the better chances, we just still don't have an out and out striker. Big Ben was a rock at the back even if he's slowed down a bit, not that he was ever quick.

PJD played well when he came on. Cathline was very poor.

0-0 fair result, neither team really tested the keepers. Defensively we were excellent though, Fish his usual solid performance and Brown decent too, Both the new Centre Backs were excellent considering it was their first game together. Martin bit slow but his positional play covers that to a degree and general footballing brain as he reads the game and anticipates well. Walsh was MOM for me, really liked the look of him, looks a very good player. Just upfront was lacking, no idea where Tyrone Marsh was today??

Only downside was arguing going on between certain players first half, we don't need to see that. Danny Waldren did his best to talk some sense into them, one of the few who genuinely cares in my opionion. Anyhow, good point against a higher placed side and a clean sheet which is much improved from mid week!

I had Crawford as my MOM.
Was he injured?

Was it a coincidence that we greatly improved and created more when Tashline went off? PJD to start.

He wouldn't have played anyway. Not fit for another week or so.

True. But after today I am thinking we need him on the pitch quickly!

I believe it's more a case of looking at him as a signing for next season than having him playing this year

I thought we were shocking today. No one was able to control the ball, we only played a higher line and pushed forward in the second half (why not earlier?), passes went astray, we didn't 'play' a very weak ref, the list goes on.

I came away from today seeing two very poor teams and it felt like a defeat.

Waldron for me the only one with any credit

Just listened to the Lewis interview.

Apparently they were considering putting Slabber on but he felt his calf while warming up?!

Only just over one month before we can finally get this money grabbing fraud off the payroll...

Can't see how only Waldren gets credit. The keeper and back four were fautless.

I thought the keeper, centre halves and the left back played well. Along with Walden. Fish was caught out out too much.

You could see why Walden is so pee'd off with the shower he has to play with. I have been supporting Welling for 25+ years and I've never had a problem with losing a game, as long as the players give 100% effort. The likes of John Farley, Paul Copley, Mike Rutherford were not the most talented of footballers but they always gave 100% in afraid that a lot of the players on show today can't be given the same credit. The likes of Hatton and Slabber have been stealing a wage all season. Add Walker who I thought was appauling today and you probably have the best part of £1500 a week spent on total dross. I can make a case for 3 or 4 of this years squad staying, but 7 or 8 and relegation is on the cards for next year as well.

I'm not sure what material the balls are made of but why we cant control one today was mind boggling.

A clean sweep of this season's calamity is much needed.

Sorry but all the time the Fans and WUSA are contributing money for

Boost The Budget to pay these players very high wages every week then

the answer is very Simple... Stop contributing and causing the problem and then

moaning about the wage bill, as its not the players fault.

Another rant over

I think that the money boost the budget covers isn't paying a huge amount of the wages. Maybe just 1 player. It isn't contributing that much to the problem!

As for stopping boost the budget, if a committment has been made to provide these funds then it needs to be honoured. WUSA can't turn round to the club and say we are withdrawing BTB because of the performance. That would not be right.

It may not be players fault they are getting a lot of money, but it is there fault that they are not putting in 100% every game. That is down to them and that is unacceptable.

yes - Ben Martin and Brown were good. I thought Waldren just gave his all (again) and was first to applaud the fans at the end.

Whole team put in a shift, two big blokes at the back who give 100% and head it and kick it helped us. Great save from Lewie and we laid seige to their goal at times and poor finishing and luck for them and piss poor refereeing again saw them leave with a point.

Pierre looks a different player playing up front, should have had a hat trick and was robbed of a goal. Lets smash Charltons kids then go and beat Ebbsfleet, we should have beat them at home and they werent anything special.

Dan Walker actually beat his man a good few times and put over a couple of superb crosses. He should hug that touch line and get his nut down and carry on doing the same. Hes rapid and when he keeps it simple hes a handful.
