The winning ball in the latest Bonus Ball game v Bognor Regis Town and Hungerford Town after all balls were sold was ball number 3 drawn by Matt Mein. Congratulations Matt; I'll get your £60 winnings to you next Monday.

It's at this point that I usually put together some frothy nonsense or other about taking part and seeing you at the next home Saturday game for another Bonus ball game. But sadly, this will not be the case. There are various reasons for this - good and bad. Mainly, however, the increase to 59 balls recently though coupled with declining attendances and the hope of trying to sell out 1 game per match has made things personally very difficult.

Stod - I'd be grateful if you would bring £22 out of the Supporters' Association account for me to give to a player who has paid up in advance.

And to everyone else, very many thanks for playing and the many laughs along the way. I would also remind you that Davey and Sally are on hand to relieve you of pounds in the brand new 50/50 draw which I believe is a more compatible matchday competition.

Cheers all - keep smiling!

Thank you Sherpa for all the hard work you have done to make the bonus ball a success. It is such a shame this has ended but as you say the additional numbers plus declining crowds has not helped. One reason we have tried out the 50/50 draw is because of declining interest in the raffle.

Cheers Dave.

An £83 prize on a possible £1 stake on Saturday was impressive and trumps the BB over 2 home Saturdays.
