Thought Jefford was superb at left back and Olu had a cracking game in midfield. After his performances on Wednesday and yesterday he will be difficult to leave out the team. He breaks up the play so well and reminds me of Kargbo.

It was refreshing to see us get the ball down and play more and limit the long balls we often play. Monakana was dominating their Full back every time he got the ball. A fantastic response from the players after last week and you could see from the reaction at the end how much it meant to them. To see Mr Goldberg with tears in his his eyes after that performance shows how much it meant.

It's a shame there isn't a game next Saturday to keep the momentum going, but we have 3 league wins in a row, unbeaten in 5 and hopefully we can push on.

He came flying across to block a tap in a couple of yards out, busting his balls to get there and defend and he also made another great tackle in the box and brought the ball out, both times when we were under the cosh and both could have been goals.

When Barnes made his one excellent save, it came out to Fogden and I think that it was Parkinson who rushed across to close down the room to slot home so he fired wide.

Enjoyed watching the video although not sure I could have handled it "live"?!

I have been crying out for more end product and we finally got some on Saturday! First half right winger gets clear, squares the ball and midfield player scores. Second half left winger gets clear, squares the ball and midfield player scores. When it is done as simply and clinically as that it can be quite effective!!

Well done to all the players for holding on and seeing the game out. There seems to be a much better spirit with this current group and hopefully also a (re)connection with the supporters that has been sorely lacking over the last couple of seasons.

Onwards and upwards.

We were superb on Saturday. Enough so to make me want to re-register to comment. I wouldn't want to pick out any individual as it was a brilliant team performance. The heart stopping last 10 minutes and the jubilation when that whistle was finally blown was something else.

It was a brilliant and spirited performance, the last 10 mins you would never witness anything like again. To win away like that after so long without one was truly special. After we lost to maidenhead a few year ago that was a turning point in our season and this could have the same effect. The players have to look at themselves now and say that's what we can do, that's what we as a group are capable of and we can really push on now.
