I don't think we're doing much this weekend to entice people to come along and watch us against Chippenham.

Other clubs are offering deals, family tickets, league club discounts etc. Perhaps the club doesn't think we'll attract many more fans regardless of what we do?

Had we have not lost to a pub team in the FA Cup we would have had probably 20k all in all from the FA Cup minimum which would have helped underpin a meaty discount offer for non league day. If you start making it £5 for everyone which i think it needs to be and 4-500 turn up you've just flushed even more money down the swanee.

Maybe next year we can have a cup run and do an enticing offer if we are at home again on Non League Day.

£2 off the normal admission (for any season ticket holders of the 92 league clubs) is not exactly a great offer. I think the club could have done a little better here. Cant see the gate being much higher.

We have 3 away games on the spin coming up. Including 2 long treks with big coach bills, plus 3 weeks wages to find. People truly think the club are in a position to say its a fiver entry and HOPE we more than double our usual crowd? After we have no FA Cup money and have just paid a weeks wages with no game?

Lets be sensible for a second here instead of bashing the club for their offer.

Maybe the fans can all go mad on social media and invite locals they know that have never been to Welling, I am sure Non League Day could be sold them and wether they paid £5 or £12 its not a life changing sum for one game for one person.

Does anyone really think if the club said its a fiver to get in we would get a crowd of 1200 plus? If the answer is no, then they would lose money which would hardly help them paying what they have to over the next 3 weeks of away games.
