If you didn't already know, there are no trains running between London Bridge & Waterloo East on Saturday.

Journey planner will show you routes using the Victoria line & a number of changes including a tube trip...  : (

I'm going via N. Greenwich & the Jubilee....less agg hopefully ....now to persuade the wife to collect Marmite & me coming home from there...hmmm.

Any other suggestions....& please no u$ber wise cracks

;  )

There's a couple of different ways. There's 13 of us staying down there Saturday night so we've been doing a bit of homework.

1. Dlr from woolwich to canning town then jubilee to waterloo
2. Straight to victoria then tube. Shouldn't take that long

Bit of hassle but shouldn't delay things too much.

#1 ...sounds a better bet than going to Greenwich early Saturday morning....thanks for that Dean.

#2...prob better to do going home ...x2 tubes but saves bothering the wife.

POLO'S top travel tips....better than TFL or SE Railway helpline anyday. biggrin

3. Straight to Victoria then train to Clapham Junction to connect with train out of Waterloo.

4. Straight to Blackfriars then walk to Waterloo.

Poole Town's game tonight has just been postponed for a waterlogged pitch so don't book train tickets too early!

When I have to come home via Victoria I usually change at Denmark Hill and pick up the Overground to Clapham Junction. Quick and easy route and you can reminisce about the days when the pub at the station was still the Phoenix and Firkin
