King said he wanted another striker last week so we need 2 now.

I don't understand this move at all. Unless there is a cracking signing lined up as a replacement then that's a guaranteed 25 goals a season gone.

If the club couldnt afford the wages and bonuses then its prudent to move a player on. There arent many other reasons for letting a player who would score 25 goals go to a rival in same league.

Can only hope a replacement arrives sooner rather than later, Id have preferred Bradly G to go, if someone had to go, but I guess family connections kept him here.

Last Season we let a decent striker go early on and he went on to haunt us. Feels like the same could happen here.

So disappointing. Guaranteed goals - clearly his wage over there will be top end so who can blame him.  Can only hope we got a fee given he was under contract. Let's hope King has a couple of strikers lined up as we are now down to 1!

Thoroughly p*ssed off. I guess the low attendance for the Charlton friendly did not help. I hope we got a reasonable fee, otherwise why do we bother? Well, it's down to you Kingy, time to bring in two quality strikers asap

Mills should score goals. Not as many as Coombes but may be more of a physical presence.

Although he is a big lump Mills is pretty good on the floor and the current manager certainly got him firing at Whitehawk a few seasons back.

Didn't pull up any trees on loan at D******* last season but the only thing he was likely to get there was neckache...

 Although he didn't pull up trees, he kept Alfie Pavey out of the side most of the time and once he'd scored his first goal he did OK. He was a 20+ goal a season man at Whitehawk and Steve King's style will definitely suit his game more than the stuff he had to play last season.

Anyway in really hope ricay fail, league's becoming a joke. Good job tristian ain't in charge of transfers...they could of had Moli and cathline!

The thing is with Adam is he seems to thrive in a Welling shirt but doesn't seem to be as great elsewhere. In a 8 year senior career he's scored 28 league goals in 78 league appearances. 21 of those in 25 league appearances for Welling. He also had a good short spell at H&R scoring 3 in 3. Having said that he'll probably get a shed load at Riccay now. I hope we got a decent fee from moneybags FC.
