I have been asked to put this on the forum by Gary Leman

One of the directors would like to know if there is any interest among fans for a coach to Woking on 20th.

It is suggested meeting up at PVR around 10.30 for a sausage or bacon roll and a few drinks in the bar. Then taking the coach at around 12.30 to Woking

As yet there are no prices to advertise as they just want to gauge interest. So if your interested please indicate by replying to this thread or seeing Gary or myself in the club shop on Saturday.

I will start the ball rolling by saying Im in.

Not nessecarily, only 25 mins from Waterloo on the train.

Nice offer early doors from all concerned, but going to opt for the train for this one.

I have just been told cost will be £10 for WUSA members and £15 for non members with a £5 discount for juniors. Remember this is a club door to club door service and does save interchange at Waterloo and walking from Woking Station to the ground. I was checking directions on the Woking site and they advise for personal safety reasons woman and young children are advised not to walk from station but to get a cab for around £4

The coach will leave PVR at 12.30 and we need a minimum of 30 people for it to run.

I believe it's because the recommended route takes you through a park. It's a very easy route by road from the station

I am surprised about the comment about walking from the station. I live close to Woking and would not expect there to be any problems. You can either walk along the road, which is probably quicker, or if you go through the park it is where the leisure centre is and where you park for the football, so there will be a lot of people around.

I only quoted what I saw on the Woking site which I checked out should I need the train.

Although it shouldn't be a problem for the Woking cup game South Western trains (bless them) have announced their next series of strike days from the 23rd to 27th Oct inclusive and every Saturday in November!

So WHEN (not if) we beat Woking hopefully the next round will either be a home draw or at least nowhere in the south west region!

The last time I was at Woking we had to go to the snooker club for a prematch pint, dont know if that is still the case.

We have 44 people booked so far on the coach. There are still a few places left so if your thinking about joining us let me know asap. WUSA member please note I will be emailing you later today with my mobile phone number. Non WUSA members who are on this forum I will be sending the same details in a personal message. This is so if you have a problem on the day getting held up on your way to PVR or if your circumstances change on the day you can let me know. I am sure we agree that waiting around not knowing if someone is turning up or not can be very frustrating.

If you didnt pay on Saturday please see me in the club shop from around 10.30 till 12.15 I do not want to collect money on the coach. See you Saturday and lets come back with £25k

Although not getting it myself it's great to see so many booked for it , it's quite a easy journey by train and there will be plenty of us doing just that also so should be a great turnout.

Slight amendment folks the bar will open from 10 am and if you want a free breakfast roll these will be served upto 10.30

The wings bar is helping to susidise this coach and putting on free food for us so I do hope as many of you as possible will support the bar for this fantastic gesture.
