Woking should have been down to 10 men after less than five minutes after one of their players wiped out CBB double footed from behind. Not a good performance from the ref and not a very good performance from us. Missed Jebby big time - and it had to be effing Woking. So we owe them big time in the league.

It was Julien Anau who was dismissed.

Crap performance I did not see it as a crap performance at all. We were marginally the better side. Both teams cancelled each other out really. Once the sending off happened it was always going to be a lot harder. I thought we did well to put some pressure on them at the end and they were glad to hear the final whistle. Well done to the management and squad. COYW

Not a crap performance, good in parts but disappointing. But for fine save by their keeper from Bradley we would still be in it. Could we have seen the game out with two banks of four after the dismissal?

SK has always said he goes for the win. Win or lose I love this teams never say die attitude.

Alright, maybe not a crap performance overall but it took 90+ minutes to get a shot on target I think (brad). For the sending off to give a foul in that area, on a yellow, was crazy. Annoyed because Woking werent great, long balls/direct and big centre halves. 1990s non league from them and we should have hit them wider with more crosses.

 1) You seem to forget the first half free kick the keeper had to palm round the post.

2) The second booking was less idiotic than the first, when the ball had already left the scene long since. Don't do the first, the second isn't a huge problem

At parity neither side created much. When we went down to 10, it wasn't obvious to me who we'd bring off if we were going to sub another midfielder on. Said at the time I thought King was seeing how it went and leaving himself with maximum options if things turned one way or the other. It did seem to turn out that way.

Pain in the backside that it was them we lost to but going away to a side of approximately equal competence, defeat was always a possibility. I am sure we will work out a way to compensate for Jebb's absence but it might not be instant. However, I think we can all see method at work and yesterday was still vastly superior to waving Haringey through to the next round.

Youre right, I dont remember the free kick! As you say big improvement on last year and Haringey was a disgrace, but not yesterday. Woking should had yellows first half. Very inconsistent from the ref and well see the same challenges go uncarded.

Disappointed but not too downhearted (apart from missing out on the 25k!) when I reflected on the game.

It was quite ironic that the worst tackle of the game was probably in the opening minutes and went unpunished?! I am fed up with hearing pundits on the telly saying things like "if that was later in the game that would have been a card" or "lucky he made that challenge in the first 10 minutes or it would have been a booking" Whatever time of the game it is a bad foul is a bad foul and should be punished. The two yellows we got in the first half were innocuous but, having said that, to get a second yellow so early in the second half was naïve at best and stupid at worst. It was just inside our half and we didn't need a last ditch challenge and, ultimately, it cost us the game. Can't fault the attitude and commitment of our lads and it was a shame to lose to a set piece goal so late in the day. Still we had a go and could have got a replay (which wouldn't have been unjust) but for a good save late in the day. Of course we missed the guile and set piece expertise of Jebb but sadly he is not available any more and we have to find other ways of creating and scoring goals. It was a tight game between 3rd and 2nd in the National South and, on that evidence, we have very little to fear in this league.

I imagine there may be some departures now we are out of the Cup as the squad seems a little on the large side. The important thing now is to bounce back next weekend and get a good result against Gloucester. They won't be a pushover at all as they have pushed Billericay and Bromley in recent weeks but we are more than capable of getting a win and staying around the top of the league. Wembley will have to wait (at least until the Trophy final next year!)

Up the Wings!

Completely agree, Ijaha should have been brought on after the sending off and we should have parked the bus.

We went 4-4-1 after the sending off and it was disappointing to concede from their only real chance.

After we conceded, SK changed the formation and in that last twelve minutes or so we had them clinging on as we had three solid chances. I wonder if had we gone for it before their goal we might have been better off as they would have had to defend more. It's all so easy with hindsight. As others have said, we have nothing to fear when we go back there in the league.

 The numbers are the same.

Non League teams are from 49-80 in the draw.

We were 14th tie drawn out in 4th qualifying round so we are given the 14th number for non league sides (62)

OK, then it would have taken a fraction longer to type Welling United so the whole course of time would have changed and the entire draw would have been different.

I suggest us actually winning the game would have interfered with temporal continuity more...
