Just seen that Basingstoke v Torquay was agreed to be finished on the day and went to ET and pens. Doesn't seem right to me?!?

It is allowed if both teams agree to it before the game starts.

We had the same arrangement a couple of years ago when drawn at home to Lincoln City.  It wasn't required as we lost in the first 90 minutes.

Makes a lot of sense to me, a Wednesday replay is not ideal as injuries, suspensions and fixtures pile up.

I believe it is also permitted in the FA Cup on the same basis.
