1-0 HT shortly before whistle. Terrible conditions, rain, heavy pitch, ball holding up (an improvement on Torquay!). Not many chances but they take their one all half. Had an handball shout early on but not sure if ball to hand. The rain could be the winner if it carries on, certainly not us fans.

**** performance
When the conditions dont suit playing the ball along the floor then surely mills needs to start

Paterson wasnt in it. Mills comes on scores. Conditions like today; it will be long balls, crosses and not nice teed up balls for Paterson to stroke in. It was gambles, a trailing leg, toe poke, flick, header. Which makes the reason why Mills didnt start even more puzzling.

We can blame the pitch and ref all we like but same for them

We also need to be more effective with set pieces. I don't think we've scored from one since Jebb's injury.

I dont think Nas would have done much yesterday in those conditions and on that pitch.
