Kind of lucky we got that awful penalty decision in our favour today. Otherwise that couldve been a back to the wall last twenty minutes. Happy with the attack in the first hour today but the performance second half was awful. The game certainly didnt warrant 8 goals but at the same time couldve had a lot more.
The Three Musketeers up front were outstanding today cant understand the substitutions today when we were cruising the game
With a tough game at Woking on Wednesday, followed by the longer trip on the road to Oxford next Saturday, saving some time on the more important legs could be a valid reason do you not think? I am sure SK must considers his subs can be trusted to do a covering job?

Agree, but they were all over the place when they came on!!!

Well said that man. At last someone who understood the reasons for the subs. SK knows what he is doing. He probably calculated that the Subs could not **** it up by loosing a 4 goal advantage and he was Correct. So they nicked a couple of late consolation goals. Who cares. 5-3. Job done. Be Happy everyone for Christ sake. Well done SK Management team and Squad. Onwards and upwards. COYW.
Great result today-we were in control playing some good football-bounce back indeed-their form belies their position in the league-they won 2-0 at Chelmsford-cant remember us doing that recently-disappoined it didn't end 5-1 but we now move on to Woking !!.....and we have nothing to fear.......COYW
Well...Steve Kings interview....clearly a bit peed off with the second half performance ....the worry is the lack of players he mentions.....lots of injuries and we HAVE to send some more out on loan just when we probably need them....

JP Kissock has been ill during the week and had to come off because he was feeling dizzy and weak. Thierry Audel has been immense all season and it should have been safe to give him a break at 5-1. It didn't help that David Ijaha then had to be replaced and Julien Anau was a passenger when also injured but couldn't be taken off.
Losing Julien Anau for up to 4 weeks is a massive blow. He was one of our best players yesterday putting in numerous crosses from the right. Danny Mills has expressed in a previous interview that we have n't put enough crosses in for him and I believe he will score more goals with better service.
Our first goal was fortunate. It was never a penalty in a million years, a laughable decision and JP Kissock was embarrassed by it. Secondly Brad Goldberg is a very poor penalty taker and a better keeper would have saved his effort. We need another taker or this will cost us.
We need to tighten up at the back. We can't win 5-3 every week. If we are going to make the play offs we need to win a few games with scrappy 1-0 wins.

Despite the defence conceding three (consolation) goals to Truro Hill and Audel are an outstanding combination. Hill was immense yesterday. Makes a change for the attack to bale out the defence.
Steve King has done well to maintain the team in a play-off position throughout the season despite the drawback of a never-ending injury list and the loss of a key player such as Jack Jebb. Consequently, it troubles me that we are entering the business end of the season, the injury list shows no sign of abating, another key player, Nas, out for a while and the squad size now becoming so thin with injuries because books, apparently, are being balanced at such a crucial time. Of course, solvency is a must, but I wonder whether there is any mileage in WUSA/supporters launching a further budget boost appeal?
Okay, so I have been put right on the substitutions :)
Anau will be a big loss, very strong player who reads the game very well.
Not much mentioned about Paterson, who I thought was outstanding - link up play excellent, continually closed down, scored and had at least one assist - also his through ball to Brad (who missed) was brilliant. He was the glue that was missing up front the last couple of games, hope he stays fit for the business end of the season.
Loved the way the three strikers kept the ball in the corner for a large slice of time when the 8 minutes injury time was announced - good job :)
