I thought decisions were made much earlier in the week, hence confirmation in the FA's suspension listings? I hope I am wrong and the appeal is granted. It is all a pretty sorry state of affairs with other players suspended or injured and Steve King trying not just to put a patched up side out against play-off rivals Wealdstone, but any full side at all! Whatever the justifiable circumstances of the budget cut, it does not help encourage current or prospective support - apart from the heroic efforts of our depleted team and management staff.
I saw games on the television this week when on a number of occasions two players went up to challenge the ball and one got an accidental elbow/arm in their face, went down and received treatment. The offender quite rightly didn't get a yellow card let alone a red!
