I see Eastbourne boro are looking for a new manager, isnt that where KIng is from? It really is time that we tied him down for next season , so that it ends the uncertainty for fans and players. In my view we need to tie him down long term so we all can relax every time a management position comes up! Really looking forward to tomorrow, should be a cracking game and a point wouldnt be a disaster. Are we showing grand national after the game? Ive really enjoyed this season home and away, long May it continue!

I would be incredibly surprised if King is with us next year after the shenanigans
M
I would tend to agree. However, whether he wound up there might be affected by if they get relegated, which is no longer the daft proposition it looked a couple of months ago.
Is he not a year in , so its no longer a two year contract? It seems to me that there is a real feelgood vibe around the place , we need to keep that along with King and the players
I really do not understand why people think contracts count in football.
If SK wants to stay (and I hope he does) and the club also wants him to stay then happy days. But if either side doesnt i bet that contract doesnt count for anything.
I always remember Scott Parker signed three 10 year contracts - within one year!
I see we are in top 5 for attendance increases in this league this year with a 25 per cent increase(concord are first) with all the budget cuts etc, that is a really good statistic
From previous comments I think the target was near to 1000. Which means we still need a big increase in the loyal, local support.
perhaps we need a bring a friend initiative or something
Just done the bring a friend option on a permanent basis for next season - my wife has signed up for her first-ever season ticket! I bought an early bird ticket too, and I hope to use it more frequently than this year when, hopefully, I will be over the worst of aspirant pneumonia which takes 6 months to get over . I thought it was the least I could do to recognise the efforts put in by the players, management team and owners. Hopefully we stay in a semi final place in the play -offs. I don't think current season tickets are valid for play-off games, but I have no quibble with that as it will bring in much-needed additional revenue.
Does anybody know whether all our players are contracted and available for the play-offs, and whether the players currently on loan to us are eligible and not subject to extra consent by their clubs? Also, it would be rather useful if we had a spare goalkeeper we could call on.
I'm more concerned at some of the appointments being made behind the scenes. They seem free and cheap options of people with no experience. We also seem to have appointed another commercial person after the last three or four brought in feck all and lasted weeks. Its decision making and appointments that don't fill me with any hope at all and i cant see how they can be beneficial or successful. We look to be losing Barry and Barrie and they need replacing with either proven people in that field or by ambitious savvy people who have the time and character to do a good job and make a difference not just get by and "wing" it.
The foundations underpinning the club seem paper thin and we've just had huge budget cuts. On the pitch King and the players are doing superbly. I just hope the foundations off the pitch don't come tumbling down or get worse.
