So much character in our squad, we must be so difficult to play against. Always 100 per cent effort and battling to the last kick of the match. Well done Wings.
Thought we were not at our best against a very poor Bath side, was thier number two a April fools joke as if he can play semi pro so can my Nan. Why at home is the atmosphere so naff? Playing at home is not a advantage when nobody sings unlike away where I think we pretty good. We are a good side lets show we appreciate them!

I agree it was nt our greatest performance but Bath City were a very good passing side. Mo Bettamer was once again brilliant when he came on and he should start against Slough in my opinion.
We must continue to push on. I believe we can now finish second.
COYW!

We struggled at times today. Bath had a lot of possession but no cutting edge. We almost gifted them an equalizer when Dan Wilks dropped the ball and they hit the Bar.
I do not know how anybody can say that the opposition was a a very poor Bath side. In possession they were very good and were only lacking a cutting edge to make the result a lot closer. We kept at it by playing a counter attacking game, took our chances and came away with the three points. The squad is looking a whole lot healthier than of recent weeks and the third place position is certainly within our grasp. Bath IMO must also be one of the favourites for a play off place.

In three words I can sum up everything i've learnt in life; it goes on.
Dont much care about the performance at this stage of the season. Our battling heroes shed blood sweat and more blood every week. What a fantastic bunch of blokes. Love this lot. Well done SK. His staff and the heroic squad.
Agree that Bath were good. Their centre back mopped up everything and they were on top the latter part of the first half and started the second half well. Wouldnt want to play them again.
Again superb character from the players to nick a win.
What a great win against a 5th place team who we can see like to play football and pass the ball around...they were as solid as us in defence and looked dangerous going forward...we looked like the better team all day and deserved the win.....fabulous team performance....we can beat any team in this league...amazing to see Jebby kicking ball around at half time....COYW !!
Must be watching a different game there 2 and 5 were park footballers at best. We got the result and Kingie made the substitution that changes the game , fantastic management. Football is about opinions, just giving mine!
Interesting comments above, for me we were the better side and deserved more than a draw. The game did, for me, go a bit flat at times, but overall an enjoyable afternoon and an excellent performance from the team and management. Other results went our way for once and the officials were generally better than usual.
How can anyone say Bath were a very poor side! They are very neat and tidy on the ball, just lacked the edge upfront. Their CB, no 15 I think, was very impressive. No idea though why some of their players were wearing numbers like 15, 19 etc from the start, very odd. Not at our best but dogged 3 points. Great finish by Mills. Kiernan needs to work on when a simple pass is best, too many times he tried to take on loads of their players and lose the ball.
Hats off (again - I'm running out of them) to Kingy for the double substitution. Anau's ball on to Millsy - who had it all to do for the winner, some finish that - was superb.
Another game and another three points secured with a late goal. The last three games we have turned one point into three with late winners and long may that continue. It shows that our lads are resilient and have the right attitude in tight games which is what we will need in abundance for any post season football. Bath may well have deserved a draw at the weekend (and we nearly gifted them one!) but we would have beaten Stalebuns if the referee hadn't lost the plot in the second half and we also fully deserved to beat Woking in the previous home game so it works both ways. The early goal (surely Audel is the best technical centre half at this level by a distance..??) seemed to dictate the tactics as we sat back and conceded a lot of possession - having said that Bath were neat and tidy but only really had shots from distance and no clear cut chances to speak off throughout the game. I can see why they have the best defensive record in the league as they contained our forwards for most of the game quite comfortably - one of their supporters told me that Mills always seems to score against them and thankfully he kept that record going having not had as much of an influence as usual. I wasn't sure about Anau playing wide right in midfield as he looks a bit lost there but suddenly he plays the pass of the game and we get the winner...what do I know!
If I am being picky, I felt the decision making at both ends of the pitch went a bit awry on Saturday. I know the manager wants us to play out from the back but there is a time and a place and we struggled to clear our lines at times and got caught in possession far too much. I know some fans will moan and groan but the opposition can't score if you smash it into the crowd or out of the ground and keep it away from our goal. At the other end too many times we got caught in possession when a pass was on and, on other occasions, we passed too early when we really needed to take their defenders on..?! I know the manager wasn't happy about that because I could hear him! Anyway a massive three points and a consolidation of third place which could be huge in a few weeks time if we can hang on to it. It would guarantee a midweek off, a home semi final tie on the Sunday and the possibility of another home game if we come through that.
On to the LSC final tomorrow night and such much needed game time for some of the players who have been on the fringe of late. If you take the bench from Saturday and add in Hill, Agyemang and L'Ghoul you still have the makings of a pretty decent team and they can all get some much needed minutes under their belts. Great to see Jebb out there on Saturday and having the possibility of him on the bench for the play offs would be another massive plus.
one of their supporters told me that Mills always seems to score against them
He has scored eight goals for four or five different clubs against them.

Presumably, Newton as well. That would mean that only Dan Wilks and one other (Sanchez Ming?) will have to start tomorrow from Saturday's starters
Yes - Newton as well.
Ming may be cup tied from an earlier round?? Also I don't know if all players have to be signed by a certain date to be eligible although I guess not from the SK interview after the Bath game...??

Correct, Ming is cup tied as he played for Dulwich in their win against Greenwich last November.
