Well if it's true then we really are finished for this season.WTF is going on with the people running this club, the bloody chancer of an owner runs away on holiday leaving totally inadequate staff to pick up the pieces and now arguably the best player we DO have at the club leaves..!!!!

That would be a real shame as he is a quality player.

However, had he carried on in the same vein as he did at the start of last season before his serious injury, we probably would have lost him in January.

Whilst I am disappointed that he has gone, has anyone thought of the idea that he probably had a minimum release clause in his contract? If that was offered then the club may have been powerless to do anything.

However i would hope that by letting him go we have someone lined up to replace him.

in fairness to the club, if they got 5K and MG 5K in the back pocket that would be fine,  because the club and Godberg have shelled out to rehabilitate the player, who now goes to a rival at the end of his recovery. Hope it was 20K, and MG is sipping Pina Colada at the Apollon Limassol vs APOEL Nicosia match tomorrow.............scouting a new winger!

OK he has gone, but Welling United remains. We have two big games coming up and we must take at least three points from the two games. If not we shall be in deep deep trouble and the outlook looks bleak, I am no apologise for Mr G but we are (apart from the surrender last Tuesday) only losing by the odd goal. It may now be time for an immediate change, but if by next Saturday evening we remain in the same position as we are today, then the case for a change must be overwhelming. It would also be be nice to hear some thanks from Jebb for standing by him for what in essence was a whole season.

^ Undisclosed fee doesn't mean money has changed hands, it could be free transfer and a small sell on with certain conditions and time frames.

 Would it not be in the clubs interest to announce this? Surely it would appease most sensible people if the club appeared powerless to stop the move?

 After our recent form, do you not think he should have been at the match? Holiday or not, he wernt there and neither were half the squad. Why not name a strong team, win comfortably, and get some confidence into the players?
