Great performance. Cannot say I agreed with the substitutions but you cannot argue with a 6-2 win. Mings, probably our player of the season so far, let himself down badly. He did not need to get involved and it is not the first time. When will he learn. We will miss him, hopefully for only three matches. Sad to be talking about this when our centre forward has scored four goals and deservedly got man of the match. Like London buses you wait 5 (or is it 6) games for a goal and 6 come along all at once!

Korr! What a result...The first 35 minutes were scintillating. High tempo. Everyone moving off the ball. We could of had 3 goals before the first went in. Braintree got a grip for the last 10 minutes of the half. Unfortunately Ming got his red card and it was backs to the wall. Mind you we were 5-1 up by then. Marvellous performance by Henry. How long is he with us? We really need to kick on from this now. What ever was done or said in training this week keep doing it. If we play like that every week we will be ok. I hope!

Excellent performance and we really took the game to them from the off. They edged back in and looked decent after 30 mins but we had the goal advantage by then. We were good all over the pitch but Henry was class. I can understand Mings frustration as he was reacting to Theo getting a yellow card after getting shoved off the pitch (actually over the barrier)! Crazy. How the ref booked both players is beyond me. If he took control Mings reaction would not have happened.
Only one game, but one game in the right direction.
Interesting that the crowd was larger than I thought it would be for a Braintree game. I assume this is down to the clubs offer of £3 off for Premier and Efl season ticket holders and programme holders from Tuesday. Glad club made this offer and hope they can do more promotions of this type in the future. Hopefully neutrals coming today and seeing 8 goals will return when they can.

But Sky News told me that there were no men's games this weekend....
