As many of you know young Maddison one of our Junior WUSA members along with some of her friends have undertaken the bucket collection on behalf of the Manarama Prostrate Cancer Charity. The young people thanks to the generosity of both home and away fans raised a fantastic £781.10. In addition the bar collecting tins raised another £95. At our last WUSA meeting we agreed to make the total upto £1000 which has been paid into the Manarama Welling United just giving account.
The club presented a trophy to Maddison today expressing their gratitude for all her effort in this fundraising. In addition I would like to thank her on behalf of WUSA for her hard work.
We now have 2 entries into the draw for a club minibus.
Well done Maddison, she put a lot of effort into it. My daughter helped her out with the collections, fingers crossed for the mini bus draw.
Sorry Dave I am so bad with names and could not remember your Daughters name to thank her as well. I forgot to say the girls also got some sweets to share.
