Do you still have to pay 13 quid even if you turn up at half-time? Other commitments prevent me being there now

Some good football in places, I thought we were the better side and deserved the win. Some strange referring decisions, as always.

Another red card will hurt us in matches to come, but a wins a win

well done to all

Good win and now they are starting to win games and score goals. Hopefully it continues.

Yea boys 'Wow' fantastic result...finally learnt how to score which at least will give some confidence.
Hopefully these great results can continue when we dont play a team who's recent record is Played 9 Lost 8 Won 1 (against us).
I see the braintree decline continues losing to a southern league south side who are 3rd bottom just to put last week into context aswell.
Let's see how we do against a proper team before deciding to give high fives and awoogas shall we.

Glad we changed things at half time, first half was poor but we really came into it last 45. St Albans in the first half did not look like a struggling team at all. Into the next round, happy days.

 £3750 for todays win

Understood we had players injured and sick today which gave some of the Academy side a chance to be on the bench.

Very much the proverbial game of two halves on Saturday.

First half was woeful and we were maybe fortunate to be only 1 down although St Albans weren't exactly great. Of course it doesn't help when your four goal striker from the pervious week can't play and we had very little else to choose from. I can understand starting with a formation that was successful but Goldberg never has been or never will be a loan striker and he was controlled quite easily. We didn't get the wide players in the game nearly enough or leave the space for Cosgrave to attack down his wing. Dymond looked like a bloke filing in at full back and generally we were all over the place.

Cue the cavalry at half time and what a difference it made! I liked Moses first time around when he was with us as a youngster and he is good on and off the ball. Cook carried on his good work from the previous week and his assist for the second goal was excellent as was the quick thinking for the third goal when we could have been under the cosh with a man down for the last few minutes. Hopefully none of the walking wounded are too badly injured as it looks like another 3 game suspension is on the cards...Waldren was taking plenty of stick but, from my position, his "tackle" looked a poor one and I wasn't surprised when the red card was brandished. I have to say that I though the referee never got a grip on the gain and there were a lot of agricultural tackles flying around from the start - had he got a grip of the game at that stage then we might have avoided the sending off.

I realise that we haven't exactly beaten much in the last two weeks but we are winning and scoring goals. The defence has been pretty good most of the time but we needed to take the pressure off them by starting to score a few at the other end. With Emmanuel/Ademola back at PVR and hopefully Coombes fit in the not too distant future we can continue to be a threat going forward. A tough run of games coming up with Dorking, Hemel, Wealdstone and D******* x 2 but we should be building a bot of confidence after the last two games.

Up the Wings!

Obviously depends what angle you saw things from as to how a tackle looks - from my view I thought it was just a solid 50/50 tackle!

It stemmed from a misplaced pass by Okosieme which Waldren overreached for. To be fair the other player ended up being carried off!

Shame as Waldren was putting in some real effort (second half) for once.
