Very, very nice to see such a buoyant looking group of players, management and staff and fans after the game. Mr Quinton appears to be very hungry for the play-offs!

Good lord! Play offs! Weve been stuck on 13th position for three weeks despite winning the last two games. Be realistic for god sakes. I think youve been drinking too much of your ales my friend. Lol
Anyway. Well done BQ coaching staff and squad for another win. Difficult conditions again today. Chippenham really had a go and played well IMO. Theyve been in good form. Thought they tried to rough us up for most of the first half. I think we just shaded a hard fought game. COYW.
Regarding it being a disappointing match. Blimey! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Two teams totally going for it. My god our players and theirs put their heart and soul into that game.
Whats the point of being in football unless you strive to win every game? absolutely brilliant to hear thats the target and after the **** show of MG managing I love to hear it Even if it is very optimistic. BQ and the squad have my full backing and looking at the form since hes been in charge its not that unrealistic. COYW
Another hard fought game and like last week a win is a win. Everybody put a shift in and by the latter stages of the second half a few looked to be blowing hard. Magic moment of the match for me was Montels chipped pass that put Cookie in for a goal scoring opportunity. Havent seen anything officially about Romney C-Rs injury but it may be that he will be out for some time.

Happy with that! Yes it wasn't the finest spectacle, but being organised, hard to break down and outworking and outmuscling some very physical oppo was a distant dream a few weeks ago. Its like night and day watching BQ's team compared with what went before
Think the play offs are still beyond us but nice to dream a dream......in any event, next season should be one to look forward too
a lot of second guessing, but unless the supporter has any idea of the P&L margins, how are we to know?
anyway, good win, so lets not go off topic.
looking forward to your review of the game (genuinely) which usually appears on Monday.
would be interested in your thoughts on Goldburg starting? Personally think he is past it, has a footballing brain, but looks to me that his legs have gone.
Maybe a substitute position, but not first 11.
The weather killed todays game, but the effort was clearly visible

Agree with a lot that's already been said. Difference with the team now is that they have a bit more grit about them.
Special mentions need to go to Bradley goldberg and montel. Not goldberg's biggest fan but he def makes things happen up top. Montel looked good when he came on. Don't think he is a 90 minute player but reads the game very well.
Really pleased to see people appreciating Montel - think he's a great player and clearly works well in the midfield. A few people seemed to react when he passed backwards but he kept the ball out of danger in dense traffic against a very aggressive and physical side. Didn't think he put a foot wrong.
Very happy with another three points added to our tally although that was comfortably our worse performance under the BQ regime. However, as the manager himself alluded to, we would almost certainly have lost that game two months ago.
In recent weeks we have started games quickly but we were lethargic from the off on Saturday and never really got ourselves going at all. Credit to the keeper and back four who all did well. Although Swaine did well and got motm after a long absence I felt that Johnson was motm from my point of view. Agyemang did well when he came on - he clearly doesn't have the legs or running power of the two Colchester lads but there may be a case in some games for playing three central midfielders...?? The one thing which didn't work for me was the front three. Goldberg and Rolt are similar in size and stature and I felt we were too lightweight in attack as a result. They both have things to offer but are too similar for me and I think it works better with one or the other but not both.
At the end of the day we won, got a clean sheet and kept our good run of late going. We would all have taken sitting 13th in the league at this stage after the debacle of Christmas and the New Year! However had we played someone more clinical on Saturday then we may well have come unstuck. Havant are unbeaten away from home in the league and we need to step up on what we produced in the Chippenham game to take anything out of that one.
