After listening to Talksport about what's happening in other countries, I'm wondering if this game will actually be on

They are going to follow the premier league and EFL , can't see how it can be avoided

They'll have to think long and hard.....I'm guessing that most lower clubs rely on week to week gate receipts to survive

They will have to think longer and harder if that's their priority. Public health comes first.

Well played - crowd benefited from other games being off, I see... how many points for safety do people think? Still quite crowded at the foot of the table...

Glad people turned up - this media led scare is going to trash the world economy. Death rate at something like 0.02% makes the whole thing a joke (a flu epidemic a few years ago killed 15000 in the UK and this crap wont reach 100)

I wonder what they want to achieve by acting like it is the end of the world

Taking into account the feeling around the ground, if that is the end of the season, its a good note to end on. With people playing in strange positions I thought we managed the game very well and were worthy winners. Such a difference to the performance at Maidstone last weeks. Everyone played well, but it was great to see Montel get a full game and he did not let anyone down. Adam Coombes header was a reminder of days gone by and Conner Dymond, who will play anywhere and always give his all, was more than solid in defence. Not the best Billericay side we have seen and the noise Mr OHara was making in the dressing room at half time was something to behold. All in all things are looking on the up, if there is not much of the season left (and that will depend on the Governments next step) lets hope we can keep a large part of the squad for next season. Pity we will give the loan players up.

I'm sure the families of the 4,000 plus people around the world who have died are laughing at the joke that you refer to.

What an absolute dickhead.

Charming...and this whole thing is a massive overreaction from the media. The death rate is next to nothing - I have older parents so that worries me but anyone else gets it you have pretty much zero chance of dying - that fact doesnt sell papers or give website hits though

Everyone on here just don't fall for the media hype (which is literally crashing the world economy)

Try to use your brain if you have one and look beyond the bbc headlines

I am with Polo on this. Experts around the world are the best source of advice not posters on football forums.

Hopefully will see everyone on 28th  (or 27th at MTM) and we all stay well. If this was our last game this season then a great way to end and thanks to Brad and his team for getting us out of trouble.

Will check shop during week to see if we have Braintree and Wealdstone in stock if not I will try and source for you. Didnt have any of yesterdays in shop unless any came down from boardroom today. If not will contact printer to have one available for you next home game.

As Nigel stated above currently matchday programme is being sold from the club shop. The old hut was blown over and smashed during the recent gales.

I wonder how much a new hut would cost, surely not to much

I suspect neither position will stand the test of time.

It isn't a joke if someone close to you dies but inevitably they will at some point (unless you go first). Neither is it a joke if your desire to save as many as possible up front crashes the established order further down the line and dumps millions\billions back several steps in the economic evolutionary chain. How many indirectly die from that given the observations in recent years over the presumed effects of austerity. Best of luck explaining that to them.

In recent times there has always been somewhere you could borrow from to start the rebuild or prop things up. If everyone is in the same schit that is a lot more difficult to do. I do not predict calamity but it is a very real possibility. There is also very real possibility of having to choose which demographic you abandon to their chances, whether it is officially pronounced like that or not. Hopefully it does not come to that but who wants to be in that decision making chair. The only thing you can guarantee is there will always be someone who thinks you made the wrong choice.

I shall be attempting to carry on in the usual manner with some tailoring to the situation.

In the meantime trite positions will doubtless come along ten a penny (probably several in response to this)

If that was to be the last game of our season then it was a pretty decent way to sign off.

Their keeper was undoubtedly man of the match and we could have had plenty more if he had not been on form. However the goal that clinched it was never a penalty in a million years and they could have equalised before that with their one real opening of the match. I think the three at the back worked quite well - not sure if it is the best formation to play but good to know we can do it. We tried it at Wealdstone in Quinton's first game and it worked quite well there. I have not always been a Dymond fan but he has become a very good utility player filling in at right back, midfield and centre half - he might not be a first choice if everyone was fit but he has become a very decent squad player. James has been one of our best performers this year in midfield but he fitted in very well at the back and Wright had a superb game in front of him ably assisted by Monty. Wing back is a difficult role to play and I think Green would be ideal for that position if/when fit and Cook, despite making far too many bad decisions for me over the whole game, ended up with a goal and an assist! Still not sure we have got the combination right up top but Akinyemi looks far better and stronger in recent games and is probably the most improved player for me under the current regime. Roberts had possibly his best game and we know what Coombes can do although that might be a luxury we can't afford moving forward...

If the league does get canned sooner rather than later then attention for us turns to next season although who knows when that will actually take place..?! The priority for me has to be to get Quinton and his team on board and signed up although that may be difficult with so many things up in the air at the present time. Not only has he improved what we already had but the calibre of player he has brought in has improved the team massivley. Imagine if we could get those Colchester lads back again for a season or RCN on loan again or at least players of similar ability. With a full pre season working with the players I think we could have a very good season to look forward to.

Up the Wings!

I have acquired 1 Billericay programme and it will be kept in the shop for you. I understand our programme expert Peter is able to supply the others.

If anyone else wants a Billericay programme let me know and I will ask our printer to bring some in next game .
