About time. Now the league is going to ask the clubs to vote again to decide on promotion/relegation issues. I would have said call the season null and void (with leagues in the records as not completed rather than all results being expunged), as hard as that is on the teams chasing promotion. The problem is that the EFL will want a replacement for Bury. None of the leagues below us will promote anyone so somewhere a league will have to be one short and I think that it should be division two.

If I have read everything correctly the final vote is by 7th May. All National clubs get a vote and the North and South get 4 votes each.

Any league could be running short next season depending on clubs surviving. Flydes owner is not putting any money in, Tunbridge Wells have not had a game since 1st January and Rhyl has already gone under. With many businesses not getting income I can see a lot of clubs loosing out on sponsorship deals next season resulting on them not being able to offer much money to players.

Why do we get 4 votes?

With the season over shall we have a poll on here for player of the season. My vote would be for Wilkes.

Now that the season is officially over I think it also right to comment on the superb job the new management team did. Hopefully they will all be retained next season, although I expect, just as at all clubs, they will be working with a vastly reduced budget if any budget at all.

It is possible that all new signings will have to be on non contract, as even if the season starts as normal we could easily go into lockdown again and it is not certain that they will be able to be furloughed again.

4 votes for North in total and 4 votes for the South in total. Seems this is the conference constitution.

Could be that the players (across the division) will need to lower their expectations of pay....

From the Championship down, I should imagine.
