The money he is used to is not there. I guess we will find out in pretty short order if it is somewhere else or we are actually competitive financially in the reopening world.... (i.e. there is a total absence of pots)

Yes, it will be interesting how competitive the squad will be. I am hoping that there must be some light at the end of the tunnel for Quinton to be staying.

I suspect, if he has good contacts, he will have some idea of the projected budgets for comparable teams in the area so you would hope that is positive.

I have total faith in BQ though to bring in players good enough to compete for 7th spot upwards, although I am assuming budgets across the league will be lower except maybe one or two.
BQ has lots of contacts. He has already said that he has too many players at pre season training. I suspect we may have to go down the Young hungry player (Cheap) route with a few more experienced players mixed in again. Mahrez Bettache and his Rising Ballers may have a few gems too.

But this is only dreaming - no team in the league goes down the young and hungry route, it's not that kind of league, it never happens.

Jack Parkinson, Andy Pugh, Loui Cumbers, Loick Peres, Jack Oberstella. All put together by Jamie Day. All playing for peanuts and just trying to put themselves in the shop window.
The young hungry route won this league for this club. A few wise experienced heads added to released young pros could do well in this league if they are fit and organised.

It never happens. The season NEVER ends in March. The new season NEVER starts in September\October. This league NEVER plays behind closed doors.....
