Covid-19 and Medical Officers required

The club secretary has asked me to post the details below which were first on the clubs website. If anyone can help by being medical officer please contact Alan urgently. If this position is not filled by 5 p.m. tomorrow Alan tells me all training and pre season games will stop. If position is filled after 5 tomorrow then we go back to square 1 with 3 weeks of contactless training building up over a period to full PSF.

As the Club gear up ahead of the new season two new roles have arisen. Please see below for details. If you can help, or know someone who can, please let us know. Both these roles are instrumental in facilitating the return of spectators at games at PVR.

COVID-19 Officer

After the league meeting and the added workload this is producing we are looking for a volunteer to act as our COVID-19 Officer. This would suit someone with spare time as it involved writing up various documentation to be submitted to the FA and league to enable Welling to invite supporters back to the ground when the government gives the green light. If you require any information on what is involved either phone our General Manager on 07584302210 or email secretary@wellingunited.com. This is a position that would need to attend most home games.

Medical Officer

Again after the league meeting, Welling are seeking a medically qualified person with a nursing degree or above. This is a voluntary position and work closely with the Covid-19 officer giving them the medical side of the argument. Again this position needs attendance at most home games.
