I know people are desperate for a bit of football but in a game where we usually get kicked off the pitch by a much lower level team in a friendly i'm not sure this is a game thats any good to us. Didnt we stop playing them due to being fouled all game?
Apparently Erith can only admit 150 home fans, that should be fine as they have about 25 fans. Lets hope we dont get any injuries. Also who gets the gate money?

Erith and Belvedere have a totally different ownership, management and playing staff now.
I can fully understand this option. We probably have been told there has to be a "test" event before the capacity can be increased, our players have been self isolating for 14 days (so unable to train together, meaning potential lack of cohesion if we played a league game) and we know E&B are free as their initial friendly against Ramsgate was cancelled.
Question please, and don't ask me to phone the club as they will be inundated, will those who paid or sent in cheques for season tickets be given preference on entry and what will be the charge?
Take a look at the E&B&Q twitter site it is a Welling home game with E&B allowed 150 and The Mighty Wings 290. Each set of fans to use their own clubs turnstiles.
Let me please answer my own question. Season Ticket holders will be able to get into the game free of charge and their name will be held by the turnstile operator or the individual on the gate (whichever we are asked to use).

Have to agree with that. In years gone by, apart from scoring a few goals, the only thing we have got out of "friendlies" with the squatters is injuries. Add that to the fact that they haven't trained (or played) for over a month then I think this is potentially a dangerous game.
I understand that BQ wants a game under his belt before restarting competitively (potentially 8 games between next Tuesday and New Years Day) but this particular fixture is not one that I would have chosen...

I bow down to those who remember better than me but was our last game away to E&B when Paul Parker was manager. For some reason I seem to think many of the E&B players had been let go by Welling. Very bad tackle on assistant player manager Brian Statham resulted him being out for most of the season. This must have been about 15 years ago.
Fair play to the club for getting everything ready, I know a huge amount of work has gone into this. What does concern me is no online ticketing yet, I'm assuming cash on the turnstiles which will cause massive queues. Doesn't seem like the best approach to re-opening.

People will need to arrive early, theres going to be a few changes but all of us need to make sure this game is a success
