Blackman released confuse

Cook resigned as well as 4 others joining.

Looks like the club didnt advocate season being suspended

A few familar faces rejoining including Cookie, Dominic Vose and Olu.

Olu was a cracking player for us, a defensive midfielder who I hope can get fit as he could be a great player. We saw what Dom Vose could do when he was with us, he made it to the football league but seems to have had problems since then. Hopefully we can get a fit, motivated player as there were certain games that he controlled.

Welcome to the new players and welcome back to the others.

Some quality in there and we needed quality.

All have proven quality and tend to go from club to club a lot.

Vose is one of the most technically gifted players we ever had but we need to get our shape back quickly when he gives the ball away, thats not a dig as if he never gave the ball away he would be a league player all day long, i'd take him back if he is anywhere near the same player he was before. Olu will do a job and is a trier, Cookie will do a job in his proper positions. Scott Doe has been around years and is the type of defender you need to organise people and to give 100% and stand up and defend properly.

We needed players who are proven and despite all seemingly losing their way a bit they are the type of player a good manager can easily work with. I think all the players returning were very much liked by the fans so thats a good start.

We need a proven striker or two thats for sure but the squad has been improved. Got to feel sorry for Blackman and he would have been one to keep for me and has looked very tidy at this level.

Good signings, very much looking forward to Vose rampaging forward and some of his goals. No reason why we cant climb the table and lay foundations for next season.

Some Dom Vose bits below for those who haven't seen him play for us or others.

An unbelievable statement considering the leagues statement earlier in the day. The league has been suspended for 2 weeks but I'd suggest there is absolutely no chance now that it will restart. So its pointless signing players and I hope that things are being organised financially.

As a best case scenario I think we could be able to host games with spectators from late May/ June although likely with a limited capacity and covid measures. Hopefully if the new manger is still around then he can use his contacts to arrange some decent friendlies and perhaps a friendly Kent Cup competition against our local rivals. This could bring some money in for the club but also the players who face a hard time with no pay I'm afraid.

Like many I am not convinced the season will ever restart.

I was a Vose fan first time around but am not sure he is a man to dig us out of a crisis. His best football is probably behind him but, if fit and motivated, he would be an asset. Doe has plenty of experience and knowhow and will hopefully be a good organiser. Olu was a good player for us and I am pleased to see him back but I know nothing about Campbell.

My big concern is goals. I think Dipo is the only striker in the squad and he is very inconsistent. We may have a few players in the squad to load the bullets but I am not sure we have enough players to fire the gun..

If there was no covid this would all be very positive, with Covid, threats of league abandoment etc it all seems a bit strange, but I guess it does show they are thinking positively

Probably season over so i doubt they are on contracts or the contracts dont have covid clauses in them, I'm sure we have a few quid tucked away from the 30 grand a month plus other grants we had before the government stepped in. Will be interesting to see the accounts when they are filed as it should all be very healthy thanks to some massive grants and then the 30 grand payments from the Government, Its just as well we had a tiny budget this season.

I would laugh if financial troubles come out of covid as we've had huge sums in throughout covid.

PMSL - the accounts will be fresh as Jobzooma Limited (formerly known as Recruiter Base ltd) operating under licence from RecruiterLink Ltd which are all part of the Keston Holdings Ltd group, controlled by Mr Nigel Mark Grayston (SECO Construction, Welling Developments Ltd etc) and non-significant control by Mr Mark Goldberg.

What's Mark's businesses got to do with us? I'm fairly sure you can't just move grants or government money from the clubs accounts to other accounts, Pretty sure the accountant for one would say i don't think so. Are you his ex wife or just a "fan". Also haven't Seco gone so what's their owner got to do with anything?

All public info. MG is the controlling club owner. It's always worth while seeing how they run their other firms, hopefully successfully as that will translate to the club too.

Of course, Very good accountant overseeing things.

Lots of companies, lots of accounts, quite sure they can work out if there any dots to join up.
