We are getting stick on social media from residents and pictures have been uploaded of lots of people in the stands.
I cant say i can defend the club, in the photos last night there looked to be well over 60 people in the stands and thats just awful and undefendable.
For those who think what a touch i can blag my way in, give your heads a wobble unless you are acting in a working role at the game. Also it was really disappointing to see managers from ryman clubs sitting next to our directors, one they have no right being there and two to not social distance is shocking,
The club needs to get a grip on this as its making us look very Covid loose and we are letting people take the piiiiss.
What ever way you look at it these kind of numbers at games are not necessary and we are flaunting it.
Doesn't look too many when you count up playing staff, coaches (who can't fit in our dugouts at the best of time), stadium announcer, camera op, 2 commentators, directors, stewards etc.

Exactly, the people that are sat together was mainly Ebbsfleet substitutes that had been tested beforetravelling , nearly everyone from Welling's perspective was social distancing. What didn't help was the fact the Wing's TV team was racing against the clock to relocate and get everything in place to be ready to broadcast, and that was due to being unable to access power to stream from the other side of the ground, there was certainly a lot of power leads being plugged in and camera positioning which I thought they did brilliantly as kick off was rapidly approaching. We even had a visit from the local constabulary last night and they was more than happy with the Covid measures that the club had in place.
If a neighbour is looking at this, and thinks there are too many in the ground, then that's the perspective and message being sent.
From the photo, it looks like many of those in attendance should have been spread out, at least.
Covid is no joke, but some think it doesn't apply to them...................and it's only been A YEAR of the same thing being said: Social distance, wear a mask (over your nose ffs!)
