Unsurprisingly, Welling's game with Bath on Saturday has been postponed. Instead, Welling and Hungerford have agreed that the previously postponed game at Hungerford will now be played on Saturday so Steve Lovell will get the opportunity of some squad members who he has not seen.
The fact we are nt going down means we celebrate 40 years of level 6 football and above. An outstanding achievement in a Borough where the Council couldn't give a monkeys about the success of their local football club.

Indeed, its a great achievement for our club even though we finished bottom....
Even if the decision to Stop were reversed how realistic is it for a club like ours to continue playing at 2, or more, matches every week through into June? It would need significant investment and probably an increase in squad numbers. Whilst the likes of Dorking may see the possibility of promotion as a reason to take on the financial risk, would the mid table and lower placed teams see any benefits?
