This is better, look a threat going forward and slightly better at the back. Should have scored a couple more, which might come back to haunt us.

A decent result considering they were 3rd, and with HH losing 6-0 at home we may not the worst in the league

Dipo would make a good centre mid outlet.
Stick him in the centre circle as a midfield outlet.
He aint no centre forward.
Rode our luck, but thank god we got a win.
Obviously meant so much to the players which was promising
Onwards and upwards

On another day they Concord could of won 5 2, but they didn't.
Still plenty to be done at the back in terms of confidence, and as per a previous post, I'd like some of whatever you are taking to think that Dipo could play centre mid! He worked better today, hopefully he builds on that.

Better. Absolute full of effort and commitment. But we rode our luck. Something to build on.

Remember Claus Jenson a few years back doing similar at Charlton.

Same build/type but just pretty much stuck himself in the centre circle.

Dominated the midfield without stepping outside of it.

We are lacking someone to aim at when we have the ball in defence, too much hoof ball.

Dipo can hold a ball, has decent awareness, and can lay a ball off.

Its all about opinion, so please dont try and mug me off with some pointless drug comment,

Dipo does not have the body, pace, finesse of a forward.

He is however, a trier.

What a difference a few days make, plus some talented new signings and no doubt a few choice words from the manager.

A much better effort, both teams missed some great chances but for once we got the rub of the green.

Congratulations to the players and management

We def had luck on our side and a draw potentially fair result.  However not going to grumble at a win and one that was hard.fought and clearly meant a lot.

Agree defence needs some fine tuning.  Wonder if when Tom King fit this will change in terms of their trust in what's behind them.

Special mentions for Che, Ben Allen and Stevenson thought they all did v.well.  dipo did well but needs to loose some timber still

He has obviously bulked up since last season and looks a bit overweight. But he does what he does well and looks like he could form a decent partnership alongside Ben Allen, with Che Krabbenden just behind.

Sounds a distinct improvement.

One must hope what sounds like an improvement mentally persists without the need for another post match verbal armageddon in the near future. It wasn't pleasant but may have been necessary.....

Three points is three points, so well done to the players for turning that performance on.

The background stuff and lingering questions about the club shouldn't be swept under the carpet on the back of it though.

Concord dominated for long periods but Welling missed some good chances. On another day if all the best chances in the game were scored it would have ended 5-3 to Concord! Great to snatch it at the end though, and a massive boost considering the start weve had. Thought the missed pen would bite us in the arse, but snatching it at the end felt great!
