As long as he doesn't wheel out his first team coach from his stint at Dagenham...

Oh come on, he's just the man we need right now. Him and Hugo together would be like having Guardiola and Mourinho at the same club.

Would like to understand the thinking behind this appointment. Doesn't seem like a good fit to me and no recent success to shout about. Will obviously get behind him and hope he can deliver.

First thing he needs to do is get some formation and shape into the team. Improve the organisation and get them to create more goal scoring chances. Easy said than done I know!

Has a lot of work to do, we have no spine to the team, only che and Allen worth keeping, but the priority is two decent centre halves and a goal scorer.

Had to get my new manager bingo card out for Mr Suttons interview, let's just hope that he delivers on it unlike some others.
Not expecting miracles, needs time to get some of his own players in and establish himself, looking at the bigger picture actually think we should be very grateful to have someone with his experience come in as they way the club is right now we could of ended up with a nobody. Good luck Mr Taylor.

Good luck Peter. Hoping that you can get some sort of tune out of the squad. Something up tempo please.

Good luck to the new manager. We were devoid of tactics and motivation which should be the first things to address.

Interesting to see if he'll be getting more experience in the side. I had high hopes for Steve Lovell, but I'm not sure the pay all players the same policy he mentioned at his meeting was ever going to work.

From what Sherpa said - I think a couple of wise old heads (maybe not too old) would really help the team right now

New Manager Peter Taylor has a huge task ahead of him, with the club in total meltdown.  Saving the Wings from relegation this year will be a huge task, with the added responsibility of trying to work around the chaos within the club which exists today. Some of these issues/items are as follows:

1.       Working with almost a non-existent budget, whilst trying to recruit experienced players. Providing a consistent playing platform on tactics and structure, and retaining the faith of the fans. Plus building a team which the core can be retained for next season. Lastly, building a rapport between the team and fans.

2.        Playing in a stadium which is basically falling apart, and decades past its sell buy date.  The need to work partnership with the Bexley Council over the development of the ground which will benefit both parties

3.        An owner who recruited the new manager and wants to sell the club, what happens then?

4.       The impact on numerous disputes between the owner of the club and the Youth team management. The matchday programme and the website really has no reference to the youth set up except for a link to  the Academy website. Only by chance fans are aware of a FA Youth cup tie being played at Park View the Friday evening.  Both parties need to sort out this huge problem and put everything in the past and move forward for the sake of the club.

5.       On the positive side, there is a bunch of hard-working fans/volunteers who keep the club ticking over despite all the horrendous chaos which surrounds them both on and off the pitch.

I am sure there are many more areas which need looking at, but if Peter Taylor can work a miracle and stabilise the team, at least this will provide a breathing space to sort out the rest of this mess. The usual suspects are already being negative about the appointment and he's not even started yet. How many potential managers capable of managing a conference south side under the prevailing circumstances would take on such an onerous task.  I for one will give him my full support and if it does not work out so be it. But for everyone's sake lets wish him the best in his endeavours.

I've had 18 months previous experience with the League side I supported starting from a better position than we are in now. No two jobs are the same so it may work out although 'work out' probably needs to be defined. However, I remain to be convinced.
