My son and I were talking about Sims on Saturday, saying we're surprised he's still here.... Hopefully cover but wouldn't be at all surprised if he goes on to better things
As far as I am aware (but I could be wrong) Jack Sims is on contract so a fee would be required. I believe that Sam Jackson has been training with Welling since before Christmas so maybe he has been registered as cover.
A lot of clubs in our league don't have a second goalkeeper. If something happens to their number one, they get emergency cover in the loan market. We had (and still have) Cairo Richards registered but he is a young enthusiastic lad and it would be a big ask for him to compete at set pieces with some of the powerful centre halves/centre forwards in this league.
