Sorry, but thought that taking our 21 midfielder off was big mistake.
Best player in a welling shirt for past couple of games.
Head and shoulders the most comfortable player we have on the ball.
Put him up front. Dipo is no a forward, but holds the ball well.
Another committed performance, however, if you do not take your chances you are not going to win anything. I thought that, for a defence that are so young, they were extremely good again. As far as the rest is concerned, certainty, in the first half ( and for 10 mins at the beginning of the second half), we created a number of opportunities on the break which could and should have been taken advantage of. Unless he is being saved for the future I cannot for the life of me understand why Shkombi was taken off and it must be said that his and the other substitutions added nothing positive whatsoever to our position. The second half was perhaps best summed up by the corner in the second minute of extra time. When we needed a good delivery the ball hardly made the field of play and went off for a goal kick much to the frustration of all. Good performances are fine, but we need points and it goes without saying that next Tues is a big, big game.

In three words I can sum up everything i've learnt in life; it goes on.
Yannis Drais (21) was subbed because he was injured, he twisted his knee and was in a lot of pain, physio came on to treat him and when he came back on the pitch you could see he was struggling to run, Im sure he signalled the bench he wasnt okay to carry on.

1st half was alright, 2nd half didn't turn up.
Drais is alright but gives ball away far to often and seemed absolutelyfine when he left the ground, although I didn't get the subs, Stevenson left wing and Kristian Campbell on the right.
Seen the usual tweets, "we didn't deserve to lose" well we didn't deserve to win either.
Campbells corner in the last minute summed us up.
Tommy Davies I thought MOM, good player, lucky to have him.
And then was great to see a few welling legends after the game, i know some more were ment to attend and hopefully club or someone else can arrange some for next season which will be 10th anniversary of winning the league and I believe 60th anniversary of the club.
Joe healy looks fitter than ever, could easily still do a job for us, and Scott kinch we could do with in the middle!
In recent weeks we have played the likes of Dulwich H. St Albans. Oxford City All are right up there amongst the play off spots. We have matched or bettered them in performance terms. We played Chelmsford played well and should of won. We took 4 points from 12 when it could of been 6 or 8 or even more. The reason is obvious to us all. We cant turn good performances into goals scored. Good strikers are a rare breed. Sadly Dipo is not of that breed. Works hard but does not seem to be in the right place at the right time. Unless we start scoring we will be the ones at the bottom off the league at the end of the season and relegated.
Problem for dipo is he's working to hard for himself, he's having to do a lot of running in wide areas cos half the time he's the only man forward.
We didn't capitalise on opportunities yesterday, their 22 was absolute toilet and when he got booked in first half we should of been going at him all the time and we didn't.

Yes we have played better in 2022 but we only have four points from four games. I have no problem with "****house" tactics and I wish we had the chance to use them by going ahead (and staying ahead for more than five minutes...)
My real worry is that I don't think we have the nous/experience to win when not playing well. We are playing reasonably well (in patches) and not winning but when we play poorly we get slapped - hence the goal difference which effectively makes us a point worse off than everyone else.
Our best two players yesterday were the two young centre halves who are not actually our own players. Some of the more senior ones need to step up and help the younger ones.
Long way to go this season but the proverbial "six pointer" on Tuesday night...

We collapsed when 21 we off.
That was plain to see for anyone at the game.
Football's a game of opinions...I counted at least 6 times he gave the ball away in the first half, which in my eyes doesn't make him the most comfortable player on the ball?
