Congrats. Its good to see youth football surviving up to that level as it normally goes a bit pear shaped as kids grow up. Great achievement in terms of results. Good luck for next season

Cheers BKK some of the lads have been playing together since they were under 7s with London Boys. Due to P.E.L.O. leaving the league they have lost 3 points and 10 goals but still remain top. Last game tomorrow and I understand that most of them are going to play out of position with the goalie going up front at one of the top goal scorers going in goal. Think its going to be interesting.

Ended up being a very interesting match. Started off with the goalkeeper playing striker and my boy who is a striker playing in goal, also most of the defence were midfield or up front with the forwards in defence. The GK scored 2 goals and my son didnt let any in. 2nd half the other main striker went in goal my boy into defence with everyone else playing out of position. Part way through one of the defenders took over goal and later due to injury the regular GK went back to his position. The game ended up 4 2 to Kidbrooke and gave the lads a basic understanding of what its like to play out of position. I understand that their manager in talking to another local team with a vie to kent league next season, if that comes off and they play Welling I will certainly have divided loyalties.
