It seems they have Charles-cook in goal, not a bad thing for us as long as we have a few chances.

Relegation will happen, which whilst no one connected with the Football Club wants is fully warranted.

I dont believe it will be a quick response back to National South we need to take our medicine and sort the ownership/running of the club which is a shambles and is the main factor behind why we are in this mess in the first place.

Completey agree. We may have been better off going down with Taylor. At least we would have gone down with a low budget and with some dignity rather than with a load of journeyman here for a quick buck. But then we need to go for it don't we? I still think Bath can be caught, they needed to win tonight and only got a point. They have a toughish run in although ours is even worse of course.

We all know that at the beginning of the season a squad capable of competing in this league should of been assembled. Not a squad that was going to challenge for the title but just one that would be able to survive. Instead it was decided to go bargain basement until now when its too late. Getting players in now and changing management is desperation. I dont blame the 3 managers or the players. They are what they are. This club has never had a huge budget under the Hobbins. But managed to punch above their weight. Sid,Grahame Hobbins will be weeping in their graves now seeing whats happening to this club. Go away Goldberg you have messed up my Saturday afternoons. You have no interest in my club. You are a Bromley FC man. Or Id it Crystal Palace who you managed to ruin. If Welling united do get relegated they will never get promoted back to NLS level under your ownership. Go now

We still have a few games to go but looking at our run in, bookmakers would likely pay out now on our relegation. If you set out with one of the lowest budgets in the league then you should not be surprised about our position. We desperately need fresh impetus, I no longer wish to here about redevelopment being our salvation, we have heard the same promises and codswallop for the last four years+. I do not know how the new additions played tonight, but it all smacks of to little to late. If we stay up now the new manager will have achieved something akin to the rising of Lazarus, if we are relegated we can only look at the person who has control of the Club and has seen us fall into this desparate position.

Terrible state, and Billericay are on a run of wins. Where the wins will come from is hard to see, but there's not a huge gap between the bottom six so still think we can survive. Incoming signings will make that happen. Harsh realities.

First 15-20 minutes was fairly impressive, having hit the post and also a tight offside scenario which was a clear run in on goal, and a chance narrowly put over the bar by Muscatt. It was working well but it took only 2 free kicks for Hampton to score, at the cost of a really shoddy Chi performance. After this, heads immediately dropped and again, resorted to the classic long ball style play. If them first 15 minutes reflected a managerial decision, then I hope to see more of it on Saturday. Second half, we were giving away silly fouls, and it became inevitable that theyd put another one away. Some of the refereeing in that game was really poor, but I dont think it had any real influence on the game. Long balls into the box were annoying to see as I think wed only won around 1% of our headers in that game. Tom Derry came on and his physical presence seemed to change our style of play slightly. His headers can be hot and cold with their direction, but his presence is a positive factor for the team. We rely on Dipo, and that was proven today, with a fantastic goal right where the keeper couldnt get to it. We were poor, but I think Saturday will be the real deciding factor for the outcome of the season.

Another interesting take from last nights game was that Taylor dropped the keeper (Sims) for a follow on Tuesday night game stating he wasnt fit and his legs needed time to recover.
Seemed although his legs were ok last night, following a Saturday game.
