Apologies for no commentary today, unfortunately my wife is currently in hospital so obviously I needed to be with her. I did listen to BBC Radio Kent and it sounded like a dire afternoon. Well done to everyone that travelled to support the team

Family should always come first and Nigel does a tremendous amount of voluntary work for the club so he can certainly be excused for missing this one.

All the best to your wife Nigel. Really enjoy listening to you when I am travelling home from Birmingham and miss any away games (Even if we do end up losing). Keep up the good work even if Welling do not and hope your wife feels better soon

Thank you Sir, very much appreciated,  indeed for myself Radio Wing's has been the one thing that has been enjoyable this season. And obviously I'm very lucky to have had various people on summarising which has been great. I really want to get more podcasts out but at the moment its been difficult

Unfortunately not as I can't travel to far away from my wife at the moment, I have contacted BBC Radio Kent about if they are providing online commentary and I'm still waiting for a reply

Ask Jon Phipps. He lives there and has definitely covered a match from Priory Lane in the past.

I've just asked him if BBC Radio Sussex are covering it, he says he doesn't think so

Kevin Anderson is BBC Radio Sussexs usual reporter at Priory Lane.

BBC Radio Kent Sports Twitter page states they are providing updates only.

Sorry that we don't have full commentary on BBC Radio Sussex today, but I will be putting in update reports to our radio show from shortly before kick-off, and then every fifteen minutes or so. You can get it online. Hope that helps.

Best wishes to the family, Nigel. Shankly was wrong. Some things actually matter more than football.

Kevin A.
