I am no connoisseur of football tactics just somebody who has supported Welling United FC as a first and second club for man many years. Yesterday we saw a very competitive first 15 mins and not a lot thereafter. Three big men up font and nothing constructive in the middle of the park and no shape whatsoever. We have loan signings and big money players that are no better than we have seen in the past. In particular Dipo out on the wing is a total waste and he could do no worse than the current (I understand highly paid) incumbent. I am more pessimistic than those I watch with, but I cannot see where the next point is coming from. We live in hope but I can already hear the fat lady singing!
