It looks like they could win the title here at PVR. A nice little problem for the new general manager but a chance to claw back a few quid from the managers hotel bill and Harvey Badbuys wages.
The sensible thing to do from a safety point of view is to give Maidstone fans the Road End and the E&B&Q stand. But then unless we bring in a beer tent or something the club makes nothing on the bar takings.
If we dont segregate then the Park End is very dangerous if you have 1,000 Maidstone fans behind the goal at that end. Even then something will need to be done as our bar and food outlets cant cope with crowds of 500-600. I expect Maidstone to bring 1,500.

Makes sense to give them the E&B side and road end. Bring in outdoor bars, do a deal with Eriths bar and the club should make money. But really away fans should be catered for and if we dont give them enough tickets then youll end up with lots in our section. Weve never really had problems with Maidstone fans but 1,500 would be enough?
Dartford only gave them 600 yesterday which is poor from them in a ground with over 4k
I' ve just seen a link on the Maidstone forum to our ticket office selling tickets to the game for away fans. Nothing on our own useless Twitter or oficial site. Its all ticket (for away fans) and they enter at the E&b&q side.

Correct, all E&B facilities have been shut on our match days for some time, since they had an internal falling out I think?
But the away fans will be expecting to be able to get a beer & a burger, or something similar, so it will be interesting to see what our club management do?
Maidstone have sold out their allocation of 1,150. We could have likley sold at least another 500 tickets to Maidstone fans so I don't want our club to plead poverty again considering we've just turned our nose up to another £5k. There is zero risk of any crowd trouble so its all a bit unnecessary the only risk was in Maidstone fans overcrowding the Park End.

I hope you are right having seen posts on National and South forums about some of the silly kids that have caused trouble at Maidstones games. This is no doubt why they needed to segregate a lot of games this season.

There IS a risk of crowd trouble thats why the club have had meetings with the police, the club is aware of the possibility of Maidstone fans in home areas, any supporters found in these areas will be ejected from the ground.
We will see. Lets be fair, there was a few Welling at the COVID away FA cup game yesteryear.
My old work place had a "cheese and wine" party - noone but suckers were following the fascist rules at that point
Almost everyone is missing the point of partygate - one of the women there literally wrote the lockdown rules. They all had the "data" and they still had a party...if a real deadly disease was going round they would have done a mayor quimby and been in a bunker pretending they were in it with the rest of us rather than living life as the retarded public bent over for them.
I still see ****ing morons on trains on the way to work wearing masks opening windows after 5 jabs - at what point to people say no to this ****? It is the ushering in of digital ID and the end to our freedoms
Maybe I shouldn't post after a night out but **** me I don't give a **** - 2nd biggest scam in history...the big one is the climate **** coming our way...our betters can do the **** they want but we have to live in cold houses to "save the planet"
Welling will stay up this year...something football related
