I wouldn't say so as we're 2 points ahead, I can't see them getting anything from Ebbsfleet, I think we could get points at Concord. What a relief we got the win today or we would have been really badly in it!
Was brilliant to listen to, what a result. I really hope we keep Matthews next season as I think he a real talent, he's had a impact pretty much every game he's played or come off the bench.
Maidstone winning the league today has really helped us out for Monday, I hope they really enjoy themselves tonight!
Today's result will match the Eastbourne result by featuring on Crimewatch this week. As important as it is to grind out results at the business end of the season, today was bloody awful and luck more than workrate and commitment hat we got the 3 points.
I've never come away from such a vital win as angry as today, and there's a really toxic atmosphere around the club at the moment. It badly needs addressing in the summer. In my 30th season in supporting the club, I've never felt such a lack of enthusiasm for all things Welling United, and for someone who does ever home and away game, it's a very strange position to find myself in.

Posting this morning after more reflection on yesterday!
First half we weren't too bad. Bradbury was unlucky when the ball bobbled as he had a great chance to score, their pitch wasn't the best quality. The keeper also pulled off a cracking save from Dipo.
Second half was a different story and we looked like we hadn't made it out of the dressing room. A great piece of individual work from Dipo led to the first goal and out of nowhere Alfie Matthews scored a second. Work rate from a number of players was lacking and at this stage of the season we badly need battlers. The number 5 for Hungerford who was man of the match was exactly the kind of player we've been missing all year, a nasty, gritty centre half, similar to Joseph Ellul at Maidstone.
As I said yesterday it's strange coming away with a huge win feeling frustrated! But I suppose its about results, not performances at this stage of the season. Credit to Taylor Curran and Sendles-White for having a chat in the bar with us all to hear why we are frustrated and to discuss things, I think it helped a lot even if there were still a difference of options on a few subjects.
I think if you would have said weeks ago that we would be 2 points off bottom with two to play I would have taken it. Hopefully Maidstone have been out for a few shandies over the weekend and we can take advantage. It would be great going into the last game with us having already stayed up, but I can see it going into the last game.
Two big games left, let's all try and be united behind the team in order to stay up (Me included!) Up the wings!

We didnt create much second half but at least we scored from the chances we did have. The frustration in the second half I felt and was how much possession they had and the amount of chances - our keeper Boyce-Clarke was excellent yesterday. Best performance I have seen from him and a nice touch him giving his gloves to a young kid who was also a keeper. The fact Billericay were winning and we were losing made it feel like this sorry season was crashing down but at least we got the result. Some of the players are recent arrivals and probably dont understand the fans frustrations which go back to pre-season and all the way through so it was good to chat to the players after.
One for the highlights If you didnt get the chance to go. Delighted for Alfie Matthews and Dipos goal very reminiscent of his second at Eastbourne but this time from the opposite, left-hand side. His close control while he created his opening was superb.
