Saturday 30th July home to Bromley! On there web site
As this is the day that the EFL starts I'm guessing we will be starting on August 6th the week after. Also doesn't leave much prospect of a Saturday Charlton friendly.

Saturday 16th July? Usually around that date in previous years.

According to my Charlton mate their problem is they have new people in place who are not aware of the historic links between the two clubs. Of course they go to the Black and White mob because the CAFC youth play there.

Well yea they are about as bigger shambles as what we have been in the past. I think usually their fans would make more noise about it but the fact they have no manager and only about 7 contracted players at the moment they have other things to worry about.
I thought one of the ideas of the pre-season was to get players match fit. Yet only playing 5 games and all against lower league opposition is an odd way of going about preparing for the season. I know in the past we have perhaps over done it with loads of pre-season matches, but this seems a bit extreme the other way. But who knows may be this is the way to do it i.e. don't play many games and always against teams you should beat. We will find out in August !
Anyone heading locally to Bromley for the Cray friendly tonight, avoid Frognal Corner. Theres been an accident at the top of the A20 slip road near the hospital before the A222 (Perry Street) towards Chislehurst.

Connor Henderson is a decent centre mid, Holmes-Dennis retired 2 years ago because of a nasty injury he got on his league debut for Portsmouth, so if he's back fit that could be good and Julian anau was half decent under King.
Just watched the Beckenham PSF. Well it appears we have a team this season. Lots to be encouraged about. Fit enthusiastic players.
Cameron Andrews is gonna be a top player. The 10 who played the whole game is very decent too. Its all looking good. I think we could be in for much better this season. I hope.
