I have designed a T Shirt that could be of interest to younger fans and those into social media. To be honest apart from Facebook and reading welling and wings radio twitter I know nowt about social media. I would like to get feedback from forum members, or indeed your families if fans would be interested in this sort of design before I place an order for any. Cost would be round about £15 but I hope to get cheaper.
I think you need to add Welling United into the design, as Welling fans will know we are the Wings, but others wont understand the reference.
I agree. Many years ago, there was a Wings on Tour t-shirt with all the away fixtures on the back and people kept saying to me 'I didn't know that you were a Paul McCartney fan'!!
No idea who started the #WeAreTheWings but its got to be dropped. its awful we have #WeAreWings which any loyal Welling fan knows that is what we sing so whats the obsession with adding The?

Thank you all for your feedback on here, by email from WUSA members and at the ground. The interesting thing is I got most of the negative feedback from people I know are over 25 and positive (10-2) feedback from young fans (who are my target market) at the ground. Although one of our more vocal teenagers did tell me she could do a better design.
Taking into account comments the design will be available to order just as #WeAreWings or club crest with #WeAreWings. However the addition of the club badge will increase selling price by £5 for an embroidered badge or £3.50 for heat pressed badge if I can get any.

Good luck and #WeAreWings is definitely the better of the options. When i take my kids to (their favourite premiership) club shops, they seem to pick high quality but quite plain merch with the club badge on - and stuff that the players are wearing in training / on the pitch.
I have to say, the Welling players and coaches this season look smart in the range of Adidas tops they wear in the warm ups, training and in interviews. I'd buy it but I appreciate it might be hard to source as well as keep prices reasonable / affordable.
