Noticed at Braintree, their stands were simple prefabricated steel.

Now I know metal is not cheap at the moment, but a possible solution to the park end?

Alternately, seeing as we seem able to lay our hands on a bit of scaffold, a simple temp scaffold solution.

They have had one at Gillingham for ages, well they did have

The company that supplied the metal terrace at Braintree also provided our terrace outside the E&B bar. This was needed to comply with staying in the National.

Looking at the park end today during the second half of the Hungerford game it seems that with not a lot TLC and understandable why, the local Danson wildlife is coming through. Saying this I dont think it rules out not being able to find a solution for a potential temporary stand with a bit of scaffolding as Wallop said, Gillingham have done this for years.

The issue is that the current concrete there is not safe and wouldn't hold anything temporary. It's needs to be removed completely and flattened.

This is something I was wondering about myself as I do remember Paul in a interview specifically saying it was going to be flattened by Xmas then we could put down a similar thing to what Braintree have. My guess is that the trees behind roots have gone underneath it and that's caused the delay/issues but it would be nice to get a update.

I would have thought temp scaffold would be ideal. If there is movement, jack it up.
I am no civil engineer, but a very nice electrical one.

When are they actually going to start knocking it down? As we were meant to have a temporary solution before Christmas. Not having a pop or anything, just a genuine question.

Same people for 2 weeks have been allowed to remain behind the goal. Very odd.
