As you may know WUSA together with the Academy funded the catering unit at PVR which is now owned by the club. There have been comments on this forum and to WUSA about the facility and standard. The club has appointed a new person to run the facility and he will be starting on Saturday. I have been asked to find out what sort of food fans would like to see available i.e. Burgers, pies, chips etc. If you have a preference please post on this thread so I can collate and pass the information onto the club. As a start in catering diversity Im told Chicken Curry with Narn will be available this week.

Ive also been asked to remind fans that hot and cold drinks plus other goodies are also available from the outside bar (now known as the Travis Perkins bar)

Agree with Pukka Pies, 'Proper' sausage hot dogs, burgers and chips, Personally I think the burgers and chips have been good this season.

How about starting off with just speed of service and being prepared instead.

Burgers, Hotdogs, Chips and as someone suggested already Pies is all you need, start getting that right and reducing the wait time and then see what else can be done.

Thank you all for your feedback both on here and by email/watsapp from some WUSA members. I have collated all your replies and they have been forwarded to the club and to the new catering chap. Everything will be looked at seriously and I am sure we can look forward to a new look to our food going on.

From a business perspective I would get one either side of the PVR stand and franchise them both

£6.50 for a burger is a hell of a lot, I guess the idea being people get the meal deal for £10 which is great value

So basically ideas were put forward and not listened to.
No need whatsoever for this time consuming menu when can't get the service right. Skin on fries? Yea lovely, but it's a football match, people just want a portion of chips at a decent price.

Burger
Cheeseburger
Hotdogs
Pies
Chips
Vegan options

All simple and can start to be pre cooked before HT to shorten wait times.

What I didnt understand was 1/4 pounder £6.50 and 1/2 pounder £8 but you could add an extra burger to the 1/4 pounder for 50p

I only asked on Thursday what people would like and did not collate and pass onto the club until Saturday morning so certainly not enough time for the club to react. However I am confident the caterers will act on the suggestions put forward as soon as possible.

It was a shocker of a day for the caterers but to be fair the 1/2lb does have hash browns and bacon on it

Glad I could help with the non football related topic

Ditch the Brioche buns, they disintegrate as soon as you touch them. Equality in portions, burger and chips had half the amount of chips a portion of chips had and charged the same price.

I don't see the fascination with brioche buns especially at football, im glad there's new things available but from what I saw £6.50 is a lot for just a quarter pounder,. Most grounds charge £6 for a half pounder
