Remembering where we come from seems to be some sort of crime but for me it's exactly why I have higher expectations.
I remember last season. I remember the home drubbings against Dartford and Dorking (and more), I remember the away bashings at St Albans, Ebbsfleet, Dartford. I remember the revolving door of players over the past several years. I remember the relegation in 2016 and the mistakes Goldberg made. I remember our awful FA Cup record. I remember how Feeney kept us up and the scenes at home against Maidstone. I remember the signings we made at the start of the season and how good we looked in pre-season. There was a buzz going right through the club from the new owners to the players and to the fans. Remembering the last few years (if you can bear the thought) is why we don't want to return there. And with our budget is why we shouldn't be anywhere near it.
I just do not get how the catering can be so wrong. Two lots of people have tried and with around 10 people in the queue, a burger and chips took 15 mins to serve? In the old days of the kitchen in the side of the main stand they knocked out burgers and hot dogs in seconds. Every thing was cooked to order last night, useless. The experience off the pitch has improved, but can be so so much better. As for on the pitch, I give up on that after last night and will start to look for away days in the Ryman / Isthmian. Relegation looks a cert after last night's **** show and changes need to be made now!
That's a improvement on the 30mins the week before. People will just stop using it, seen lots of people give up and heard endless people moaning about it. And quite frankly £6.60 for a frozen burger is taking the piss.
