Apparently their game last Saturday was postponed around 1:30pm by the match referee (who I believe had travelled from Stoke), causing some obvious frustration to those who had travelled. They do not get any compensation, though the match officials and visiting team do.
My friend lives just down the road from there, they had solid rain for 4 days up to Saturday with the river Avon bursting it's banks. There is still localised flooding but it hasn't rained again since Sunday.
According to their twitter most fans thought it looked playable on Saturday, no worse than ours that's for sure and the ref just didn't fancy it calling it off as stated a hour or so before KO.
Hopefully they'll have a bit more sense today with no rain forecast in the area.
