Get most of the players to play, plus GH, get a few ex players to turn out. Teams of 4 for Businesses 3 of them plus one Welling personality. All individuals would be teamed up on the day if they couldnt get a team together.
Breakfast of bacon rolls and tea/coffee , 30 mins with the club pro warming up. 4 balls for 9 hole singles competition. Dinner then the team comp over 18 in the afternoon.
Great sponsorship opportunities for the Club and the Commercial Manager to get their teeth into.
As i say its businesses the club would be targetting but fans can enter and play too. about £50 quid should cover it and make the club a nice few quid, after they brokered a deal with the club for the use of the course and the meals etc. Plus a few trophies. Obviously they could get the day sponsored too to make even more money. Should be fun, also spectators/helpers on the day at the course

I hope they do this , im really glad after i went mental last season about getting kids through the gates that the club seem to want a decent youth/community set up. Nights at the dogs are fine for the fans but the Golf day would be a superb money spinner. A lot of deals are done on the golf course.
