Just wanted to make a couple of points - whilst the burgers/chips are on the pricey side, the meal deal with a beer is really great value and the food is nice. Not sure having to take the bottom of a receipt book to the bar is the best idea though - if I were that way inclined, wouldn't be hard to get free beers every Saturday...
Disappointing that the WUSA deal now only allows for 1 drink in a round. I've been taking others and drinking more in the bars as it makes it quite attractive, but now not so. Also a bit **** that there wasn't any announcement of this, just an A4 sign on the bar when it was introduced.
So the issue with the WUSA discount in the bar was that a number of people were using one card and getting 5 or 6 drinks with discounts.
We were also told last week that we could only get one discount per round so we took all 8 cards we had up for the 8 drinks we were purchasing, I offered to buy each drink one by one if that was the case and they relented. I do agree that you should have to show a card per drink to get the discount.
