Thank you both, the plans are to have much more content going out. I always like the Monday/Tuesday night interviews Gavin Sutton used to do with the managers, obviously post match interviews are good but to have an interview 48hrs later you can get a different perspective when the dust has settled so to speak. I've asked Gavin to do some of these interviews as I don't just want my voice on the pod all the time. I'm also looking to get more fan's post match thoughts recorded and I'm always up for ideas for features to be included. Last season there was quite a few times when I was in a position to record stuff but chose not to for a few reasons. This season with the recent changes etc I'm going to be more focused to give Wing's fan's some interesting things to listen to. The club's social media is in my opinion better than quite a few football league club's, the new website (which Ollie Groome has been really working hard on) is looking really good, so hopefully the days of supporters not feeling part of the club because of the lack of information are over
Last season I had a chat with a player who told me about his motivations to join us, and knowing that background made watching him play much more interesting than if I'd not known that. It made me think how it would be useful to know more of the back stories of our players - their careers, how they got to us, motivations.
Then I heard Nigel's interview with Antony, and it was just what I had in mind, really shows the challenges Antony is taking on, so watching him play this season will be so much more interesting now I know that background from the interview, which has so many surprises in it. With so many new players joining it will be good to have in depth interviews so we can find out who they are.
