Out of interest and ex players, Charlie Farley has been released by Heybridge Swifts. Good bloke and laid his life on the line when it was needed but I think we have moved on. Good luck to him though
Anyone know if Alan Tait has been picked up. Spent much of last season warming the bench at Canvey but had previously shown his worth at Crawley and Folkestone.
Ex Gills Chris Hope and Richard Rose are available. Hope is 33 and was former Club Captain and of course played with Ade. Rose seems to have fallen out of favour in the last half of the season but can use both feet and plays left or right back.
In passing I must mention that Heybridge also released Simon Glover former Wing and much travelled since.
