Did we get out of jail or did we deserve the late goal? In my opinion, we controlled the first half but ten crazy minutes in the second round almost undid us. However, we kept plugging away and kept our hopes alive with a late equaliser which I believe was merited.

Great game of football. Few minutes of madness cost us the win. Was a big game for them and they started well but once we got into it controlled the first half and defended really well when needed to.

Their first goal and the 10 minutes that followed were not something you would of predicted at H/T but to stay I'm the game like we did is credit to the manager and players we have now.

I like most of their fans spoke to after the game believe we'll finish the job Wednesday and that yesterday was their big chance.

As long as the players don't think that the hard part is done, we should be okay. They have only lost one game in all tournaments this season, so they aren't going to roll over.

Players and management have a good mentality, yes they haven't lost games but I think the step up in level showed yesterday and that was acknowledged by their fans. With 11 men yesterday we win that game. It was good game, good luck to them. But if we lose on Wednesday I'd be very disappointed.

Looking back, and weighing up the performance rather than the final result, we were slightly the better team in the first half, scoring the only goal that half and having more clear shots. If one ignores the freak silly goalkeeping goal we conceded, our 10 men got a 1 - 1 draw in the second half, and again we had more clear chances. So assuming we keep 11 on the pitch I fancy us for the replay.

I hoped the highlights would show if we were inaccurately denied two penalties, but unfortunately in their highlights they chose not to show those incidents as well as some of our shots. www.youtube.com/watch . Still, it was a nice surprise that they got the unmistakeable voice of Wallop to do the voiceover for the highlights on their channel, and I provided the very concise tightly edited script for their highlights!

I have been keen for us to play with two up front, and noticed we scored our equaliser once Alex came on, so we had him and Tristan in attack. I always give credit where credit is due, and although I haven't rated Alex previously, against Gosport he really linked up well with the players around him, holding up the ball, laying it off well, maybe watching Tristan doing these things has helped Alex learn to play a more central linking up role.
