Looking at the table they remind me of us, good defensively, but not scoring much. P13 W2 D6 L5 F14 A20.
They are the division above us, but we played a pre-season game against Woking also a division above us, who are having a very good season, and we matched them in defence and midfield, and now have Tristan who has transformed us in attack. There are lots of teams I am glad we have avoided in the draw, so it is not the easiest draw, but lots could have been worse. Come on Wings!
I've been made aware that Radio Wings may not be welcome to broadcast, rest assured that if we are successful on Wednesday night in the replay that ill be contacted Borehamwood and stating a case for Radio Wings to be there
Couple of ex.Wings at Boreham Wood. Tyrone Marsh & Chris Bush. Boreham Wood have done well to stay in the National League for so long, but this season are finding life a bit tougher. They did beat Hartlepool 1-0 last night but their keeper pulled off some blinding saves to prevent Hartlepool from equalising. Boreham Wood are at home to top of the table Chesterfield on Saturday.
Fingers crossed for no injuries against Farnborough on Saturday for us.
Although the admission prices have to be agreed by both clubs currently Boringwood charge £20 (£18 oldies like me) online. If paying at gate it is £2 extra. According to their website club house is home fans only.
